Interesting Facts
The label bears the fingerprint of Francesco Mazzei, as a sign that the legendary family of the Marquises of Mazzei also have properties in Sicily where excellent wine is produced. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand from vineyards near the town of Noto. The age of the vines in the vineyards is 10-15 years. After classical fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 10 months.
