Interesting Facts
The grapes for Pitos Rosso are harvested from old vines, under 30 years old, growing in southeast Sicily, at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level. Fermentation takes place in clay amphorae, after which the wine is aged for 12 months in the cellars of the farm. The wine has a long storage potential, 9-12 years.
