Interesting Facts
The wine is made from the Nero d'Avola variety, grown in the southeast of the island of Sicily, near the city of Vittoria. Biodynamic vineyards are located at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level. Alcoholic fermentation with grape skins takes place without the addition of artificial yeast in glass-lined concrete vats at a controlled temperature of 33 °C. In the same vats, “Nero di Lupo” matures for at least 12 months. The wine is not filtered before bottling.
