Interesting Facts
Vermentino grapes are harvested in vineyards in the Gallura region, in the municipality of Telti - Calangianus (Olbia), at an altitude of 250-300 meters above sea level. The local soil is composed of loam of granitic origin, as well as clay and sand with a high quartz content. The average age of the vines is 15 years. The harvest takes place by hand in the first half of September. After destemming, delicate pressing at low temperatures follows. Fermentation takes place in steel at 16-18 degrees Celsius for 15 days. The wine is aged on its lees for six months.
