Saraja
Saraja is a modern Italian winery located in the Sardinian region, in the municipality of Telti, in the heart of the historic Gallura region. Saraja's philosophy centers on respect for the land, connection to local traditions, and the desire to capture the atmosphere of Sardinia—its wind, sea, and granite soils—in each wine.
Saraja's portfolio is based on wines made from indigenous Sardinian grape varieties. Particular attention is paid to Vermentino, which is used to produce several versions of the renowned Vermentino di Gallura DOCG, distinguished by freshness, minerality, and vibrant citrus-floral nuances. In addition to white wines, the winery produces red wines from Cannonau and Carignano grapes, as well as rosés that showcase the diversity of Sardinia's winemaking regions.
Saraja's production approach is based on careful attention to the vineyards and minimal intervention in the winemaking process. The winery strives to reduce the amount of filtration, clarification and use of sulphites, intervening only when truly necessary to preserve the quality of the wine.
