Interesting Facts
Vermentino grapes are harvested in vineyards in the Gallura region, in the municipality of Telti - Calangianus (Olbia), at an altitude of 400-500 meters above sea level. The local soil is a combination of loam of granitic origin, clay, and sand with a high quartz content. The average age of the vines is 18 years. The harvest takes place in the first half of September by hand. After destemming, delicate pressing follows at low temperatures. Fermentation takes place in steel at 16-18 degrees Celsius. The wine is aged on its lees for six months.
