Interesting Facts
Vermentino grapes are harvested in the Gallura region's vineyards, in the municipality of Telti - Calangianus (Olbia), at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. The local soil is a mixture of granitic loam, clay, and sand with a high quartz content. The average age of the vines is 18 years. The harvest is hand-picked in the last third of September. After destemming, the grapes are gently pressed at low temperatures. Fermentation takes place in steel (80%) and oak tonnes (20%) for 15 days. The wine is aged on its lees for eight months (an additional two months are spent in bottle before release).
