Interesting Facts
Foscarino is produced from grapes grown in the best crus of the Foscarino hill. The grapes are harvested by hand. After destemming, a short maceration is carried out for 8-12 hours. Then the grapes are pressed and the must undergoes cold decantation for 24 hours. Fermentation is carried out in old oak barrels. At the end of fermentation, the wine is aged in the same barrels on the lees for 6 months, with regular bâtonnage.
