Soave Classico DOC Vigneto du Lot, Inama
Interesting Facts
All soils in the Soave Classico hills are of volcanic origin. Here are unique conditions for the production of complex and multifaceted white wines. Vigneto du Lot is produced from vines grafted onto old Rupestris du Lot roots. This is a unique cru on the Foscarino hill. The grapes are harvested by hand. After destemming, a short maceration is carried out for 8-12 hours. Then the grapes are pressed and the must undergoes cold decantation for 24 hours. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation is carried out in French barriques (30% of them are new). At the end of fermentation, the wine is aged in the same barrels on the lees for 6 months, with regular batonage, and another 6 months in stainless steel containers.
