Interesting Facts
Pietradolce Etna Bianco is produced exclusively from Carricante grapes, grown on sandy loam soils with abundant volcanic rock on the northern side of Etna, at an altitude of 700 to 800 meters above sea level. The grapes are hand-harvested from late September to early October. Gentle pressing and vinification take place in steel. Aging takes place for four months in steel tanks, plus two months in bottle before release.
