Interesting Facts
Givry Rouge is a classic Pinot Noir from the Côte Chalonnaise, showcasing the lighter, fruit-forward side of the Domaine Laurent Mouton style. The wine originates from 3.17 hectares of south-facing plots situated at an altitude of approximately 220 meters, featuring predominantly clay soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed, and undergo cold pre-fermentation maceration; fermentation lasts 10–15 days with daily manual *pigeage* (punching down of the cap) and temperature control. 75% of the wine is aged for eight months in oak barrels.
