It is in this small village with 210 hectares of vineyards, located in the northern part of Côte de Nuits, that the most famous red Burgundy wines, such as Romanet-Conti and Richebourg, are produced. Both the villages of Vosne-Romanée and Flagey-Echézeaux are entitled to bear the name of Vosne-Romanée. The vines of Domaine de Clos Frantin are located in the vineyards of Damaudes and Maizières - a perfect union of two terroirs that perfectly complement each other. The wine is aged in oak barrels (20-30% new) for 14-16 months.
