In the 70’s Fulvio “Beo” Tessari, certain of the potential of his own vines, starts to produce wine itself.
It was absolutely an innovative and ambitious project for that period.

Having a very high consideration environmental sustainability, Ca’Rugate discontinued the use of chemical fertilizers in 2000, replacing them with:
-cow manure, organic composted soil and plant origin organo- mineral fertilizer
-products allowed in organic farming ONLY
