Interesting Facts
Chateau Clinet is crafted from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Château Clinet vineyards, located on the highest part of the Pomerol plateau, renowned for its exceptional terroir. The grapes are harvested from 40-year-old vines and carefully sorted. Fermentation for each variety is carried out separately for 4-6 weeks, using modern wooden vats. Malolactic fermentation of the must also takes place separately in French oak barrels (55% new, 45% up to one year old). The blending takes place after the wine has aged in oak barrels for 16 months.
