Interesting Facts
Chateau du Couvant is the second wine of the famous Clos Rene. Although not the most famous wine from Pomerol, it is of very high quality, richness, complexity and comes close to the great wines of Pomerol. The wine is made from the harvest from the young vines of the economy. Before bottling the wine was aged in new oak barrels for 18 months. The potential of the wine is 10-15 years.
