Interesting Facts
The wines of the Ortswein category make up the golden mean in the Weingut Gross wine line. The grapes are harvested from several vineyards located in the same area and with the same soil type. Therefore, in the production of these wines, they are treated with the same care as the wines from individual vineyards, trying to preserve the expression of the terroir, but at the same time create the best blend of different cuvées. These wines are suitable for long aging. Sauvignon Blanc Ehrenhausen is aged in old oak barrels for 12 months, after 6 months in steel vats
