Port Kalem 20 years made from grapes of optimum maturity. Grape must is subjected to prolonged fermentation with constant filling (stirring). This occurs in vats (lagars) at a controlled temperature (between 28-30 ° C) until the desired degree of sweetness (baumé) is reached. At this point, grape brandy is added to create a fortified wine. All wines used in this blend are aged for a certain time in oak, the average aging time is 20 years.
