Interesting Facts
The grapes are harvested in two areas in the southeast of Sicily in the province of Ragusa and in the west in the province of Agrigento. The vineyards in Ragusa, close to the sea, are distinguished by loose, free-flowing, quickly warming soils and produce fruity, fragrant wines. And the vineyards of Agrigento are laid out on loamy fertile soils. Thanks to the symbiosis of the two styles, a rich, generous, slightly sparkling Tinkite wine is born.
