Interesting Facts
“Il Puro” means “pure” in Italian. This wine is 100% Sangiovese, 100% local clones, 100% organic winemaking, 100% Chianti Classico style. The grapes come from the independent Casanova vineyard, located on the southern slope, between the famous Coltassala and Balifico sites. The first harvest of this wine was released in 2006, since then it has been released only in the best years. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged in oak barriques for 18 months.
