Interesting Facts
This line is created in honor of the founder of Undurraga, Francisco Undurraga, who created the company more than 130 years ago. The grapes are hand-picked from a small plot into 12-kilogram boxes and delivered to the winery, where they go through manual selection. After prefermentation maceration at low temperatures, the berries begin fermentation in stainless steel vats, which lasts about 15 days. The wine is aged in oak barrels (30% new oak) for 17 months.
