Araldica Vini

Now in Araldica there are three hundred families - participants working on 900 hectares of vineyards. The cooperative was born on a much smaller scale in 1954. The right strategy has led him to what he is now - a company with the most modern production, launched in 2000, issuing 25 million bottles per year, dispersing around the world.

The company's vineyards are located in the main wine regions of Piedmont: Langhe, Gavi, Monferrrato and Roero. Two local vineyards are the pride of Araldica: Il Cascione and La Battistina. The grape varieties used - Piedmontese Barbera, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Cortese, Arneis, Moscato - are complemented by unconditional Merlot, Cabernet and Chardonnay. The current success of the company was greatly facilitated by the decision taken at the peak of development in the 90s on special investment support for vineyards for members of the cooperative, aimed at unconditional and always sufficient provision of the enterprise with grapes.

The company's CEO, Claudio Monera, is confident that significant investments in vineyards, no less than in other parts of the business, are vital and necessary to create quality wine. He believes that effective management ensures the value for money that is so important to the customer: "Our goal has never been to pursue the empty dream of making a 'great' wine that is hard to find or hard to afford. Our more ambitious goal has always been was to create a range of understandable and accessible wines".
