Interesting Facts
This wine was first produced by Mauro Vannucci in 1991. The grapes are harvested from 50-year-old vines in Piagge, near Pogetto. Hand harvested, separate vinification, maceration for at least 18 days. Afterwards, the wine is sent to French barriques for 18 months. Bottling takes place without filtration or clarification.
