Interesting Facts

Le Petit Voyage wines were launched in 2020 as a tribute to authentic grape varieties and bold winemaking techniques. This wine is made from the Criolla grape, which was brought to South America by the Spanish in the 16th century. Legend has it that only this variety, taken on board at the last stop - the Canary Islands, survived such a long journey. The 20-year-old vines are located at an altitude of 1,300 meters above sea level. The grapes are harvested in the first week of March. Whole bunches undergo carbonic maceration. After pressing and the end of fermentation, the must is de-skinned and de-stemmed. The wine is then supplemented with Pinot Gris sediment and regularly battonnaged during aging, which enhances volume and structure.
