Interesting Facts
The Sangiovese grapes are harvested from pebbly soils at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level. The 22-year-old vines are located in a vineyard with a south-eastern exposure. Fermentation and maceration of the wine take place in steel and last a total of about 29 days. The wine is aged in 500, 700 and 2500-liter oak barrels for 30 months. After this, the wine is aged in concrete and bottles for another 18 months.
