Koyle
Koyle is a family-owned Chilean winery founded in 2006 by members of the renowned Undurraga winemaking dynasty, whose history spans over six generations. The estate is located in the Los Lingues region (Alto Colchagua), at the foot of the Andes, where rocky slopes and a favorable microclimate create conditions for growing high-quality grapes. The founders set themselves the goal of creating wines that accurately reflect the characteristics of the local terroir and the origin of the grapes.
One of Koyle's key features is its commitment to biodynamic viticulture. As early as 2008, the estate began transitioning to biodynamic vineyard management methods, and in 2012, it received Demeter certification. The winery views its vineyards as a single living organism, using natural compost, plant-based preparations, and avoiding chemical fertilizers. This approach allows for healthy grapes and wines with vibrant character and a clear connection to their place of origin.
