Henri Mounier

The Henri Mounier cognac house was founded in 1858 by Henri Mounier, a former merchant navy captain who decided to devote himself to winemaking. From the very beginning, the entrepreneur relied on impeccable quality at all stages of production: from the choice of terroir for growing grapes to control of distillation and careful selection of oak barrels for aging. Thanks to this, already in the first decade and a half of work (until 1874), the brand gained popularity in Europe, establishing a strong reputation as a producer of exquisite cognacs.

Today the company remains faithful to the traditions laid down by the founder and adheres to its own production secrets. The work uses barrels made of Limousin and Tronsay oak, and the raw materials come from partners from four wine-growing regions - this allows you to create complex blends. The brand's portfolio includes cognacs of different aging classes - from young VS with fruity notes to premium Extra 40-year-old with a rich bouquet of tones of roasted coffee, dark chocolate and walnuts - as well as other alcoholic drinks under subsidiary brands.
