Chateau de Talu
Today, Château de Talu is one of the most modern and picturesque wineries on the Black Sea coast. The vineyards are located between 44 and 45 degrees north latitude, like the southern zones of Piedmont and Bordeaux. The area of the vineyards is 125.46 hectares. The proximity of the sea, the composition of the soil, in which limestone and marl predominate, the proximity to coniferous forests, the blowing of the vineyards by the sea breeze - all this creates a unique microclimate for growing grapes, from which great wines are born. The collection is based on elegant balanced wines with the potential for long aging in the bottle. They easily recognize the style of the head winemaker of Château de Thanu Franck Duseigneur, who suggests first making sure of the purity of the classic varieties and only then moving on to assemblage wines. All wines are aged from 9 to 24 months in French oak barrels.
