Veuve Doussot

The champagne house Veuve Doussot was founded in 1970. Widow Dussault is the great-grandmother of the current owner, widowed after the First World War. In 1970, Georges Joly and his sons created the first brand, Veuve Doussot, in her honor. The farm owns 21 hectares in Cote de Bar. The vineyard and wine cellar are located in Noe-le-Mallet, a charming village in the heart of the Côte des Bars.

Pinot noir is typical for this area, as the local soil is rich in clay and limestone. To add freshness and floral aroma to the champagne, Chardonnay is also grown here. The farm is also committed to preserving the quality of the soil and vines for future generations.
